The spacious three storey cottage has recently been lovingly converted to a very high standard and retains many of the original character features of the original historic former chapel and more latterly its position as the old Lynton and Lynmouth Cinema house.
Upper Cottage is in a great location in the heart of the village. It has been awarded four stars by Visit England.
It is very well appointed and makes a great base to relax in comfort following a day out exploring the local attractions.

Upper Cottage is situated in the picturesque North Devon coastal village of Lynton.
The village of Lynton is surrounded by the spectacular countryside of the Exmoor National Park. The outstanding beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde are all within approximately 20 miles. Attractions such as Watersmeet, Hedon Valley, Valley of the rocks and the Cliff Funicular railway are within walking distance.
The accommodation and local area is suitable for everyone from young families through to retirees.
Local, lively village pubs serving good food are close by and all the amenities of the village including a choice of restaurants and shops are all within a short walk. Superb countryside, hillside and coastal walks surround the village which also offers lawn green bowling, tennis and a village cinema.
An exhilarating cliff walk or a breath-taking ride on the famous funicular railway brings you to the picturesque harbour, gardens and beach of the twin village of Lynmouth. Many famous beauty spots are also close by including Watersmeet, the Valley of the Rocks, Heddons Mouth, Porlock Weir and the Doone Valley.
